3. Nature of Service
CrewTax is an online tool designed to assist airline crew members in calculating and preparing deductible business expenses for tax purposes.
All calculations provided are strictly informational and preparatory. They do not constitute tax advice and do not replace personalized guidance from a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or licensed tax professional.
The user is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of their tax return and filing it with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or applicable state tax authority.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (text, images, graphics, logos, icons, software, databases) is the exclusive property of INFODUX LLC or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution, or exploitation — in whole or in part — of the Site or its content, by any means, without prior written authorization from INFODUX LLC, is strictly prohibited.
5. Privacy & Data Protection
INFODUX LLC collects and processes personal data in connection with the use of the Site, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679) for European users and applicable US privacy laws.
Data collected: email address, name, airline, crew type, base airport, employee type, trip and expense data entered by the user.
Purpose: to provide the tax deduction calculation service, manage user accounts, and send service-related communications.
Legal basis: performance of contract (service delivery) and user consent.
Data hosting: Firebase / Google Cloud Platform (EU region europe-west1 for European users).
Retention: data is retained for the duration of service use and deleted within 12 months after account closure.
